Projects
Since our inception in 2010, we have worked hard to uplift the daily lives of several underprivileged communities around the world. Thank you for supporting our organization over the years. Your kind gift has helped many underprivileged communities and people around the world. Because of generous donors like you, Sangamithra has been able to support the following communities
- Built a multi-purpose room at a home for abandoned and orphaned children and adults with special needs.
- Provided benches and desks to a school for underprivileged children.
- Provided an inventory of medicines for a medical camp for disadvantaged communities.
- Set up a medical lab for underprivileged communities that do not have access to lab facilities.
- Provided scholarships for high-achieving grade 12 students from low-income families, to encourage them to pursue a higher education in college
Update on projects
In order for Sangamithra Foundation to conduct relevant projects and to expand our horizons to help more people in need, it is imperative that we strengthen our capacity to contribute toward the upliftment of the underprivileged sections of society. We have a long and challenging path ahead of us, but with your support we can achieve our goals.
Some of our upcoming projects include
- Support the rehabilitation of people who lost everything in Wayanad Landslide, Kerala.
- Support the construction of a school for children with special needs.
- Rebuild a science lab for a government run school for children from low-income families.
- Provide meals at a residential school for underprivileged children.
- Donate computers and software for a computer lab at a school for blind students.
