Online Summer Camp

Sangamithra Foundation is holding an online summer camp this year from Monday, July 13th 2020 - Friday, July 17th 2020. Let your children enjoy a week of fun filled activities and contribute toward supporting Sangamithra's projects. 

  • Age Group: 8 to 13 years
  • Camp Fee: $10 per class
  • Requirements: Ability to access Zoom; Supplies as suggested by teachers.
  • Please register by Sunday, July 5th 2020 by clicking the registrer option on the right side.
  • Seats are limited to first 20 registrants per class. 

Activities:

  • Painting – Pranathi Suraparaju

Pranathi has been teaching kids and touching their creative side of art for the last 4 years. Pranathi has also been a student of different forms of painting such as oil, glass and fabric for the last 12 years.

  • Yoga – Viji Suresh

Viji is a certified Yoga instructor. She is an IT professional transformed to a passionate yogi. She aspires to positively impact the lives of adults and kids through yoga. To know more visit www.yogabloom.us

  • Art/Crafts – Pooja Nair

Pooja is an accomplished artist with a passion for teaching and a profound knowledge of different genres of art, art history and various artistic mediums. Having more than 7 years of experience in teaching at a Vedic School, Pooja is a skilled motivator and demonstrates a flair for raising the confidence and self-esteem of students thereby helping them reach their full potential.   • Story telling – Amrita Chauhan

Amrita has been working with children since 1999. She is a Primary Grade Teacher with a leading school run and managed by the royal family of Jaipur city, capital of the princely state of Rajasthan, India. Amrita is a certified story teller from Kathalaya India and conducts workshops for her school and also in an independent capacity for children between the age group of 4 to 13.She also takes training sessions for kids wanting to become story tellers.Story telling as an activity is all about expressions, engagement, body language nuances, voice modulation and it greatly helpyoung minds gain sensitivity as well the confidence to express themselves better.It is also a way to shape up into confident adults at a young age due to focus on creative interaction & expressions in various settings.

  • Music (vocal) – Sowmya Srinivasan

Soumya has been running the Moksha School of Music in Charlotte for more than 5 years. She has been a student of music from the age of 8 and is still pursuing her passion for music. She has learned Carnatic, Hindustani and Western Classical.She likes to sing classical, semi-classical and light music.
